7/23/10 @ Kingbee Ground Sound

Come and join us @ Kingbee Ground Sound on Monday, August 23rd for once in a lifetime show. Four bands will be performing and admission will be $4. On tour from Brooklyn,NY will be Little Gold. Sharing members with psychedelic group Ancient Sky who played the very first Kingbee show in August of last year, Little Gold brings to the table a very unique mix of indie/folk rock with the psych of Ancient Sky. Somerset natives Tree Talk will be celebrating the release of their new c.d. Also they are encouraging you to bring your own light(B.Y.O.L.), of any kind to be used during their set. Also performing acoustic sets will be the amazing Casey Horner and Draftdodger. Show starts at 8:00 p.m. so show up early to catch all the music. For sale at the show will be some tapes and records courtesy of the Karmic Swamp Distro.

August Seventh-Twenty Ten

Make sure you come out to Kingbee Ground Sound on Saturday, August 7th to witness four heavy bands performing for your listening pleasure. Straight outta Illinois and on tour at the moment, Lord Green will be throwing down! Also driving down from Indiana just for the show will be young doom titans Thorr-Axe! Those two bands alone are more than enough reason to come out but, also playing will be Audible Burst and local Somerset bass/drum duo They Yearn For What They Fear. '2 Shows,1 Week'...

Kingbee Ground Sound will be the host of two awesome shows this coming week. The first of which will be on Sunday, July 11th(yeah I know, what better to do on a Sunday?). The show will feature Somerset locals Messes Of Men and natives Audible Burst. Also playing will be Glocca Morra(Philadelphi,PA) and The Greek Favourites(PA). Both of these bands will be touring so come out and support them as well as the local talents. The music will start around 8:00 p.m. and we are asking for a $5 suggested donation. The second show Kingbee Ground Sound will be hosting next week will be on Saturday, July 17th. Playing will be Casey Horner(acoustic/folk), Old One(bass/drum from Morehead,KY), Holy Mountains(down-tempo/doom), They Yearn For What They Fear(Bass/Drum thrash), and Audible Burst(bass/drum duo). 6/11/10 @ Kingbee Ground Sound

Friday, June 11th will be the date of next house show at Kingbee Ground Sound. As always there will be some local talents as well as those that are from these parts. Performing will be: Dead Mall Cops(Somerset,KY punk/rock) - Messes Of Men (Somerset,KY math/rock duo) - Fei Rei(Knoxville,TN experimental/noise) -Audible Burst(Mountains,KY drum/bass duo). Come out and have a good time, there will be fire and food as well. Music will start around 9. We are asking for a $3 donation that will go to the bands for gas and such. 4/23/10 @ Kingbee Ground Sound

Friday April 23rd, Kingbee Ground Sound will yet again be hosting a house show. Headlining the show will be bass/drum duo Sonorous Gale hailing from Buffalo NY! Sonorous Gale will blow you away with their intensity and ability to play their instruments. They are currently on an east coast tour of the U.S. and will be rolling through Somerset for this show before they head back up to Buffalo. Come out and support them and give them some of your parents money! Playing for a second time will be Audible Burst. This will be their 3rd actual show with the current drum/bass line-up. If you are looking for something heavy with a lot of bass then check them out. So if this sounds good to you then drop on by Kingbee Ground Sound on Friday April 23rd and let's rage! Admission will be $5 and the show will commence around 8 o'clock. We plan to have a fire(weather permitting) and some food to cook out.
